Girls from Moira House took part in an amazing evening on Sunday 4 October. The West End Gala Concert was held in the beautiful All Saints Chapel in Meads, and featured star performers from shows as diverse as Phantom of the Opera to Bend It Like Beckham, plus an appearance by members of the West End Gospel Choir. Alongside these professionals several of our girls were invited to perform solo items including Sorrel Jordan, Daisy Williams and Isabelle Allen. Taliah also performed in a trio with West End stars Maddie Hope Coelho and Alice Fearn. In addition the girls accompanied Alice Fearn in a rousing rendition of “Oom Pah Pah” from Oliver and performed some memorable choral arrangements of “Where Is Love” and an Annie Medley. The event was under the musical direction of our own Mr Robert Cousins and organised by Natalie Golding. Natalie praised the Moira House Girls: “Once again is was great to welcome back the Moira House Girls to be part of the West End Gala Concert, their performance was fantastic and we are really grateful for their hard work and dedication”. The evening was all in aid of the charity Breast Cancer Now. Final figures are being calculated but a good sum was raised. Thanks to all who helped and took part from Moira House, especially the performers: Olivia Beale, Pippa Carrington, Nina Carron, Natalya Chance, Emily Davison, Jade Fenton, Lana Harffey-Burkhill, Sorrel Jordan, Taliah, Elli Manville, Isabelle Allen, Raphy McDavitt-Lowe, Hannah Richards, Gracie Russell, Tianlu Wang and Daisy Williams.
