U14 & U15 Netball v Claremont

Our U15 and U14 teams played against Claremont on Tuesday. They were two closely contested games and both schools went away with a win – our U14s won 10-12. It was a very nail-biting win in the final moments! Olivia Standing (Year 9 – U15) and Jessica Briarley (Year 9 – U14) both deserve a mention for their stoic performances.

1st VII v Battle Abbey

The 1st VII played Battle Abbey on Thursday – it was a physical and competitive game. Alice Greenland, Francesca Head and Lizzie Garner commanded centre court and a great win was forged of 21 – 2. The game also constituted Nina Carron’s A Level PE assessment and she can be very proud of her performance making some fantastic interceptions and switching play quickly.

Volleyball v Roedean

Congratulations to our Volleyball team for their excellent victory over Roedean School by 3 sets to 0. Captained by Nicky Manipanti, who served powerfully, the team played some excellent, controlled Volleyball, with a good percentage of first balls being played accurately to the setter. Team spirit was high and players were moving and supporting one another on court. Player of the match goes to Tarco Chan!
