Congratulations to our U11 Tennis teams who competed so well in the U11 Sussex Schools’ Tournament. Our “A” team players Stephanie Vieira, Megan Lee, Darcey Russell and Pippa Carrington finished in bronze medal position! They had wins against Lancing, Bede’s B and Great Walstead. They played some great Tennis against Sion in the play-off to finish in 3rd place overall. Maddy Baldwin-Charles, Rebekah Noyce, Chloe Maidens and Eleanor ffinch-Mitchell played fantastically in the B team, growing in strength and confidence during the course of the
Tournament.

U13 ROUNDERS V MAYFIELD

The U13 Rounders team played exceptionally well with strong batting and fielding skills by all. Taliah Maidens and Esther
Palanca Romualdo showed outstanding bowling and fielding skills. Holly Broadhurst made some great decisions. It was a close match but Mayfield pipped us to the post, winning by 4 rounders.

U13 TENNIS V ST ANDREW’S

Daisy Williams and Izzy Allen made a great doubles team winning their set 6—3 against St Andrew’s on Tuesday and there were some great rallies and teamwork between Taliah Maidens and Chloe Walker.

U15 CRICKET V HOVE PARK

The U15 team produced a much improved batting performance with Poppy Horne again producing a superb innings, scoring 35 runs. She was well supported by Ellianna Manville but with a
fantastic total of 90 did not beat Hove Park.

U13 ROUNDERS V CLAREMONT

Two very exciting U13 Rounders games took place at Claremont this week. The A team fielded very efficiently to keep the game closely contested but unfortunately lost very narrowly by 19 rounders to 14.5. The B team had a very fast-paced game with exceptional ball-stopping by Caitlin Corbett, winning 15.5 – 8 rounders. Well done girls!

U18 AEGON TENNIS

The U15 Aegon Tennis team had some strong competition against Eastbourne College. Esther Palanca Romualdo played incredibly well, winning her set 6 – 1. Well done girls for a great display of tennis!
