ScholarshipsAcademic scholarships will be offered to very able girls in the following age groups: seven, eight, nine and ten for entry into the Junior School and eleven, twelve and thirteen plus in the Senior School. Several of our girls are music scholars and some have become Junior Exhibitioners at the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music. All standard orchestral instruments are taught at Moira House, including harp and percussion. Our choirs and orchestras regularly give concerts at home and abroad. Music Scholarships are available. Exhibitions are also awarded for excellence in Drama, Art and Sport to girls of eleven, twelve and thirteen plus. The school has a well-deserved reputation for innovative and professional drama production and girls participate in various national art competitions. A large, modern sports hall was built in 2004, which includes a Fitness Centre and provides girls with wide-ranging sporting opportunities, alongside those already offered by a 25-metre indoor swimming pool and outdoor courts and playing fields for netball, tennis, hockey, rounders, athletics and cricket.
