Every girl is encouraged to learn the value of personal fitness and to balance life between work and play.  Many sports are enjoyed and county colours are achieved regularly in the major sports of hockey, netball, tennis, rounders and swimming. 

The school has attractive playing fields and a magnificent, new, indoor Sports Hall which enables girls to enjoy a further range of sporting opportunities whatever the weather. The Sports Hall houses facilities for badminton, basketball, volleyball, tennis, netball, football and hockey. It also contains a Fitness Centre with a range of equipment including treadmills, cross trainers and weights which is open to families, friends and members of the local community.

Other sporting successes include regional junior golf champions, gold and silver medallists in the national Judo championships, success at cricket and rounders and a national three-day eventer in horse riding.
