Nine pupils from Moira House Girls School took part in the prestigious IAPS National Finals Swimming Championships at the K2 in Crawley. Chloe Hughes, Chloe Cory, Lara Dixon, Jessica Brialey, Tahlia Winn, Isabel Loubser, Amelia Carrington, Millie Garner and reserve Emily Davison, had been waiting for this weekend to arrive since earlier in the year. The girls were all nervous but swam with determination to finish fourth in a time of 2.20.63 behind some very stiff competition. In the first round at The Sovereign Centre they swam in a time of 2.24, so they were four seconds faster in the National finals. Their take-overs were immaculate and all eight girls managed personal best times. This is the second time in two years that Moira House has been successful at such a high level of swimming, and the School coaches are extremely proud of their achievements.
