Sing Live

We were delighted to once again hold our annual Sing Live event on Thursday 24 May.

Over 40 pupils from local Primary Schools, Meeching Valley and Seaford Primary School, attended the event hosted by Moira House for a fun morning of singing. Under the guidance of Moira House’s Directors of Senior and Junior Music, the pupils learnt a selection of songs such as “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”and “A Whole New World”. During the morning, pupils from each School had the opportunity to practice their pieces, and at the end of the morning, all the pupils sang together in an amazing live ensemble performance.

Their performance was recorded in Moira House’s own recording studio and each School will receive a cd with a selection of the pieces they sang during the morning.

Peter Burge, Moira House’s Senior Director of Music, said: “We were delighted to welcome all these promising singers to “Sing Live”, and hope that this event helped to encourage and continue a love of singing and performing.”
