Moira House Girls sing at Charity Proms

Girls in the Moira House Junior School’s Chamber Choir took part last week in “The Proms Night”, the eighth annual Charity Proms Concert organised by Seaford Martello’s Rotary Club.

The girls aged from 8 to 11 performed some well-known Proms songs, including “Lullaby of Broadway” with great enthusiasm.  Afterwards, the appreciative audience gave a huge round of applause.

Other guest performances at the Concert included The Seaford Silver Band, singers Grace Constable and Kate Welch.  The proceeds from the concert will be given to several local charities.

At the climax of the concert, the Moira House girls sang the traditional favourites, such as “Land of Hope and Glory”, whilst waving their flags with gusto, really helping the audience to get into the spirit of the occasion.

It was certainly a successful evening, enjoyed by all!
