Bienvenue! Willkommen! ¡Bienvenido! Widening horizons, motivating girls to communicate in other languages and generating cultural awareness are the keystones to the success of the Modern Languages Department at Moira House.
An expert and enthusiastic team of linguists teach French, German and Spanish across the age and ability range to GCSE and A Level, to produce confident linguists, ready to take on the adventures and challenges of an ever expanding Europe.
The department’s compulsive wanderlust provides girls with opportunities to join visits and exchanges to France, Germany and Spain. Well-organised and fun packed, they offer the girls additional scope outside of the classroom to put into practice all that they have learnt.
