We offer an exciting daily extra-curricular programme that complements Academic Studies. The programme provides endless opportunities for each girl to try new things and find her special talents.

As well as pursuing personal interests, girls can sample such activities as trampolining, horse riding, yoga, salsa dancing and pilates, in addition to swing band, drama workshop and arts and crafts. A small modern kitchen is a popular place for those wishing to experiment with cooking!

We offer The Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. This internationally recognized award helps students to develop their skills and become competent in expeditions.

We have a comprehensive programme of Trips and Cultural Events, for example, NASA Space Camp (Alabama, USA), Club La Santa Sports Week (Lanzarote), the Ski Trip to mainland Europe. There is a nature trail to Florida and a cultural visit to Washington. Our foreign language students participate in exchange programmes.

Sports and Performing Arts tours have taken our students in recent years to Australia, USA, Canada, Barbados, Dubai, Hong Kong and Thailand. Plans are already well advanced for the next Performing Arts venture to Moscow, St Petersburg and Tallinn in 2012. Our 3 year cultural programme schedule is available to download below.

At weekends we offer a wide programme of activities. Onsite activities include art workshops, sport activities and cookery, with swimming and bowling, for example, available locally.

Brighton Pavilion, Bodiam Castle and Michelham Priory provide cultural interest. Both Eastbourne and Brighton boast active theatres and the big shows in London are always popular with our students. Girls enjoy visiting cities like Brighton, Oxford and London as well as the inevitable shopping trips to Bluewater, Ashford Outlet Park and Wing Yip – a large Chinese supermarket. These activities are published in the termly White Book, a copy of which can be found below.
