Outstanding 2011 A Level Results for Moira House Girls School Students

Girls at Moira House School have achieved a truly exceptional set of results at A and AS Level.

14 girls achieved 3 or more A or A* grades. We congratulate Mona Le (A, A, A*, A), Sophie Beland (A, A, A, A*), Natalie Bird (A*, A, A*, A*), Georgina Cutler (A*, A, A), Victoria Howells (A*, A, A*,), Hannah McNamara (A*, A*, A,), Freddie Poulton (A*, A, A*), Ellie Sharp (A*, A*, A*, A), Tianqi Wang (A, A*, A*, A), Ellie Lambert (A*, A*, A*), Miley Li (A, A*, A*, A), Luna Pan ( A, A, A*, C), Raisah Owasil (A, A, A, B), and Ruby Chang (A, A, A, B, B).

Overall, 50% of the girls achieved A* or A grades, an outstanding 70.5% achieved A*, A or B grades and 86% achieved A*, A, B or C grades. The overall pass rate of 98.8% was exceptional.

Natalie Bird said: “I’m absolutely thrilled. All my dreams have come true.” and Freddie Poulton was also thrilled: “I will always thank the School for the opportunities given to me. The trips, the ballgirling, and the activities also all spiced up my life at the School.”

Principal, Mrs Lesley Watson, was delighted for the girls: “These truly are tremendous and well deserved results. I offer my congratulations to all our students on their success and hard work. They have also had significant support from our staff, to whom I am very grateful. We are very proud of our girls and wish them every success in their future careers. We are delighted for the girls being able to follow their chosen university or career route.”
