Seniors and Sixth Form students enjoying the curriculum Nursery and Junior pupils enjoying the curriculum

Nursery School Curriculum

In the Nursery School curriculum our primary aim is to ensure that the children achieve the best they can in a happy environment and feel confident and independent before starting full time school.

Junior School Curriculum

The Junior School curriculum is based on the school’s aims. The emphasis is on learning, wherever possible, from first-hand experience, and developing skills, knowledge and understanding in practical and relevant contexts.

Senior & Sixth Form Curriculum

Both the Senior School curriculum and the Sixth Form curriculum are designed to provide a broad and balanced range of learning experiences which caters for the needs, talents and potential of every pupil in accordance with the school's aims. At each stage we grant all pupils equal access to every course, subject only to advice and guidance where choices must be made.

Where the need for special provision is identified a student's interests are considered on an individual basis, whether that be extending the most able or supporting those with specific learning difficulties under the direction of the school’s SENCO. The school has a comprehensive EAL department which supports all children whose first language is not English.
